Are your managers prepared to recognise, prevent and respond to sexual harassment in the workplace?

With strengthened legal responsibilities for employers coming into effect on 30 October 2026, organisations need to ensure their managers and team leaders are prepared.

Join Suzanne Bailey of EmpowerWise for this practical three-hour virtual workshop, designed to build the knowledge and confidence needed to prevent, recognise and respond appropriately to sexual harassment in the workplace.

About the Workshop

Sexual harassment can occur in any organisation, regardless of sector or size. As well as the significant personal impact on employees, concerns that are not handled effectively can affect workplace culture, engagement, productivity, attendance and organisational reputation.

This three-hour virtual workshop has been designed specifically for managers, team leaders, HR professionals and senior staff, providing practical guidance and the confidence to respond appropriately when it matters most.

During the session, you will learn how to:

  • Recognise sexual harassment and understand how it can arise in the workplace

  • Understand the important difference between intent and impact

  • Respond appropriately when concerns or disclosures are raised

  • Understand employer responsibilities under strengthened legislation

  • Record, report and escalate concerns effectively

  • Introduce practical measures to support a safer and more respectful workplace culture

Why Attend?

From 30 October 2026, employers will be required to take all reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment of employees, alongside new responsibilities relating to harassment by third parties, including customers, contractors and service users.

This workshop will help managers understand what those responsibilities mean in practice, identify potential risks and respond to concerns with greater confidence and consistency.

Participants will leave with practical knowledge they can apply within their organisation to help create a workplace where employees feel safe, respected and supported.
