Programme One – Creating High Performing Teams – Thursday 5th February 2026

According to Amy Edmonson, Professor of Leadership at Harvard Business School, the key to high performing teams is high levels of Psychological Safety and accountability.

This one-day programme looks at how leaders can create both. This programme is suitable for managers, team leaders or anyone interested in professional development.

By the end of the session delegates will be able to:

  • Understand the concept of Psychological Safety

  • Understand how to measure levels within their teams and leadership actions that increase levels

  • Recognise the effects on team performance from hybrid working and have strategies to overcome those challenges

Programme Two – Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace – Thursday 26th February 2026

Emotional intelligence has become a crucial skill in the workplace. High levels of EI improve self-awareness, communication, and relationship management, which leads to better mental health, stronger professional performance, and increased personal success.

Because it enables people to understand their own emotions and those of others it helps in navigating conflicts, building stronger teams, and achieving personal and career goals.

By the end of the session delegates will be able to:

  • Be able to define emotional intelligence

  • Recognise and manage their own emotions

  • Understand others’ emotions to build trust

  • Know how to use EI skills to handle conflict and communicate more effectively

  • Be able to apply EI in leadership, decision making and team collaboration

In today’s world of new challenges, people who can think critically are better equipped to navigate and adapt to those challenges.

This programme is suitable for managers, team leaders or anyone interested in professional development.

  • Distinguish between facts, assumptions, and opinions

  • Use logical reasoning to evaluate arguments and evidence

  • Apply creative and analytical techniques to real-world problems

  • Make decisions using structured problem-solving models

Programme Four – Influencing Skills – Thursday 16th April 2026

Kenneth Blanchard said, “The key to successful leadership today is influence, not authority.”

For teams to follow, a leader needs to be able to gain commitment and buy in from the team. Over the years we have seen a shift from leadership by command and control to leadership through commitment and engagement. Influence is a large part of that engagement.

Influence can be defined as: “Gaining commitment from others by showing that there is a real and genuine advantage to them in moving in the direction you want. Influence is the ability to affect a person’s character, beliefs or actions, reaching agreement by discussion”

This programme is suitable for managers, team leaders or anyone interested in professional development.

By the end of the session delegates will be able to:

  • Understand what influence means

  • Learn different behavioral styles of others and how to adapt in order to influence

  • Reduce resistance and build commitment by choosing the right influence approaches

  • Know how to use logical, emotional and co-operative influence strategies

  • Consider situations in which they need to gain commitment and select the most effective influence style
